What we hold to
Story first
We start every project with the story. Format, schedule and technique serve it.
Care in the craft
Picture, sound, subtitles, posters. Audiences remember the details, so we work on them at every stage.
Khmer first, open to the world
We write and publish in Khmer first, then English, so our work feels at home here and can still travel.
Respect for the audience
We make work we would gladly watch with our own families, and we are honest about what we made and where it came from.
Good stories are specific
We start with what our audience already knows: city streets and village roads, family life, humour, the rhythm of the Khmer language. A story rooted in one real place can still reach people anywhere.
Then we put the craft to work for the story. Framing, sound, pace and the edit share one job, to make you feel something, and we judge our work by whether it does.
To Cambodia's entertainment industry
Cambodia has a proud film history that reaches back to the golden age of the 1960s. We want the next chapter to be as strong. For us that means Khmer first on everything we publish, a high standard for every release, and doing our share in a local industry that is still growing.
