KPMG Cambodia is a leading Big 4 professional services firm providing Audit, Tax, and Advisory services to multinational corporations, commercial banks, and top local enterprises. Position: Senior Audit & Tax Associate Location: 4th Floor, Canadia Bank Tower, Monivong Blvd, Phnom Penh. Key Responsibilities: • Lead statutory audit fieldwork, internal control evaluations, and substantive testing for diversified corporate clients. • Prepare audited financial statements in full compliance with CIFRS / CIFRS for SMEs. • Review monthly and annual Cambodian tax declarations (VAT, Withholding Tax, Tax on Income, Prepayment of ToI). • Supervise and coach Junior Associates, reviewing audit working papers and analytical procedures. • Draft management letters identifying accounting weaknesses and recommended remediation steps. Candidate Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Banking. ACCA / CAT / CPA qualification or progress towards final stages. • 3+ years of auditing experience in an established public accounting firm. • Thorough knowledge of the General Department of Taxation (GDT) Cambodian tax regulations and e-filing systems. • High proficiency in advanced Excel (financial formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software. • Strong analytical rigor, attention to detail, and professional integrity. • Fluent written and spoken English.
