Brown Coffee and Bakery, Cambodia's pioneer in specialty coffee culture, is looking for an energetic and skilled Head Barista & Shift Supervisor for our flagship BKK1 branch on Street 57. Role Overview: As Head Barista, you will champion our brew quality, guide junior baristas, maintain specialty espresso machines, and ensure every guest receives our signature warm Cambodian hospitality. Responsibilities: • Dial in espresso grinders every morning, calibrate extraction ratios, and serve specialty coffees (espresso, pour-over V60, cold brew, and signature Khmer roasts). • Supervise daily cafe floor operations, inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and fresh pastries. • Train new barista recruits on latte art, sensory tasting, milk steaming texture, and hygiene standards. • Handle guest feedback with a friendly, professional attitude. Requirements: • Minimum 1-2 years experience as a barista in a high-volume specialty cafe. • Proven latte art skills (tulip, rosetta, swan) and knowledge of coffee origins. • Good command of spoken Khmer and conversational English to greet diverse local and expat customers. • Punctual, neat, friendly personality with leadership potential.
